What you do when you have a 4 hour long break

News of petrol price increasing by 40% the following day cooked up massive traffic jams on Wednesday night... and why does my area have to have like 8 petrol stations on such a fateful day?? Was in Un.Robert's car .. we tried to avoid all roads with petrol stations.. but it seemed like every alternative had either one or even two stations..... Crazy.. was like some nightmare.. not judging here, but its just amazing how people can wait for hours to save some money .. hmm .. thank God we reached church quite on time..


The very day petrol price increased.. we decided to car pool ..


So 9 of us were packed in a Myvi ... ( some blocked from view )






















actually no one besides Christine drove.. so we didn;t have no choice also .. =P

Christine didn't pump her petrol tank the night before, and when we reached the petrol kiosk.. it was empty.. a far cry from the hundreds of cars seen at petrol stations the night before..

90 bucks was what she had to pay for a full tank! Inflation is gonna be driving the whole world crazy.. When are you Mr.Salary gonna be increasing??

Drove to Asia Cafe for lunch.. the taste of the Terriyaki Chicken's fresh in my mind..had it during my last visit here last year.. ( Betz's recommendation ) So I decided to get the same thing, and also successfully persuaded 6 from the gang to try it too! Maybe Persuasion Class does come to good use after all =)

Main purpose of the day was to try out the very famous bubble Tea that Siu Fai and Christine has been raving about ..

and true enough.. it was .. it made me like Bubble Tea a little more, though I'm not an avid fan of it.. if only there's such a thing as ordering Bubble Tea with only a scoop of Bubbles.. .. I just can't stand the chewing...

We had another 2 hours to kill.. so headed to Uptown.. honestly it was my very first time stepping into this district.. I thought with its prestigious name " Uptown" .. it will look like how its name is.. but I was fooled! haha .. =P

I love the interior.. messy as it is.. there were many things to read and see.. you get yourself entertained while munching on cupcakes =)

The cupcakes were so pretty!! I love the particular heart shaped one.. it looks like it has caviars surrounding the heart hehe..

Two mini cupcakes almost make me diabetic.. and though I really wanted to try the peanut butter one... I had to deny my the desires of the flesh sadly =(

But it was one great 4 hour long break! This ends the day when girls were let loose from Break . ;)






















Btw, my previous maid ( the one before the runaway one ) is back!!!! =) Now I'm no longer maid hehehe..
