Ma Liu Jia. Melaka.Malacca =)
Forced my eyes open at 6...to embark on this lil baba-nonya trip!
The lil gadget that guided us there .. took us two hours and a nap to reach.
The weather was good and windy. perfect day for a one day trip!
As we arrived, we stopped first at St.Peter's church..
Gabriel is that you?
it was very much vacant, only faint voices of children from the highest floor could be heard..
You can only find this in Malacca...
Giant Pineapple tart. (no kidding.its real)
Every shop in Jonker Street has this woodish-historical-ancient touch to it.. and not to mention purely artistic too.. just love poking my face into every shop =P The coffee shop we went in wasn't short of these..
Mirror imaged
Windmill across the bridge
Next stop- St.Paul's..
This is SO peyton!
As we got deeper inside there was this little empty room.. suddenly someone started singing in this mellow voice.. and I jumped.. haha. Didn;t notice him there..
Pleasant voice he had =)
A Famosa Fort.. what Malacca is famously known for.
We decided to have a lil fun with the props .... =)
singing to the tune of oldsmokey.
On top of Famosa, all covered bricks. I shot she named Wei-I, with a big Canon ball.
AFter all the drama, we visited this beatuy museum.. the name itself can be deceiving .. for all we saw inside were .
Inserting huge disc into their mouths.. the right one shows that you can choose to have a triangle shaped mouth too! Interesting....
There were more models and pictures on piercings on the mouth, and bodies..
It all got pretty gory.. so we didn't take many pictures.
Beauty is really subjective. Period.
After feasting our eyes on 'beautiful' figurines.. we adjourn to our own beautiful huntings..
Lunch ;)
Chicken Rice Balls!
They even had Yam Rice Balls which were nicer than the normal ones.
As I said earlier, most restuarants are museums in their own ways... this one here had a chinese dynastic touch to it..
We found this treasure trove as we went to the toilet..
A throne! haha. Ya.. dun mess with the queen
But I was dethrone in a split second..
=/
Folks.. the EYE of malaysia has shifted to Malacca!! Noooo.. wouldn't get to see the KL view anymore.. as its permanently going to be in Malacca. sob.
Not knowing how long more till we'll be visiting Malacca again.. we took this golden opportunity to ride on it..
While waiting in line for our turn.. we cam whored a lil haha. In front of the gigantic FAN.
Spot Zorro?
The view was pretty hmm... plain. No offesence Malaccians. hehe. but it was really plain and mostly construction sites. Maybe if it was located somewhere near town it would have been much more interesting .. hehehe
We were locked inside for 5 whole rounds! We were actually screaming to come out haha. but the wheel kept turning and turning..... and we saw something during the 3rd round! two ducks swimming on the lake below us. hehe.
After the "ferris wheel" ride.. we visited the ship- Flor De La Mar..
Each time we come to Malacca, we always wanted to tour in this .. but never had the time! So I was pretty excited to greet the unexpected =)
First thing I saw.. Albino Pirate.
Wei-I kissing Mr. Pirate 2

Remember Alfonso Alberqueque the one we studied in Form Two History? This ship belongs to him, and his treasure troves.. I'll will always remember him.. cause I find his name amusing. =)
the familiar face
Albuquerque as portrayed by the local citizens.
HUGE difference ok. He looks so much more suave here.
*shrugs*
Wei-I developed a fetish for mannequins
Our last stop in this tentera laut museum.....
Wei-I got her revenge back.. liasing with Wy-Pun..
So much for my happy ending
