The LRT tour..

As true to the title.. me and my dad embarked on a LRT tour!!

You may wonder why we were so free to go on a tour.. and of all things - the LRT .. haha.. well, initially my dad wanted to teman Wei-I to take an LRT to her current work place in Taman Jaya, but he thought of roaming around the streets of KL and PJ, and picking up my mum ( minus the car ) from KL before we headed home .. and it was his 2nd time taking the LRT .. and my 3rd? hehee

We left at 1 pm , and was waiting for the LRT at Selatan station.. when I got a call from Elwin " Eh.. what you doing taking LRT??"

" Erm.. going for LRT tour.. u nearby ke?"

"look behind" And there he was standing at the stairs laughing at me ...

" LRT tour????" continues laughing...

Haha.

So... here is my dad ..


























He carried along with him a backpack. At home.. he was packing a t-shirt, books and a bottle of water inside.. Asked him why he needed a shirt??? He said.. well.. just in case lar ...
pengsan.. really like some foreign tourist.. haha


Those were the stations we had to pass through, before reaching Taman Jaya. A total of 7 stops..








After reaching Taman Jaya.. we had to walk a mere 25 minutes before we reached MPBJ . Pity Wei-I, cause she has to walk walk walk everyday for 3 months! muahhaa..


After sending Wei-I to the entrance of MPBJ, we took a stroll around the Taman.. hahaa. Well we had lots of time to kill before 5pm .. when my mum ends work..









Our next stop was Petaling Street! Haven't been there since form 5, tuition at Kasturi .. so I was anticipating their famous Air Mata Kuching! =)



Wow. They have awnings now! We had to walk under the blazing sun last time after tuition . haha. If only they had awnings back then ..










Well, after getting the most important thing in my "to-buy list from petaling street" - the air mata kuching.. we got ourselves soya bean too! ahaa. Hot and thirsty, refreshing icy drinks are always welcomed! ;)

Skip here skip there.. and we reached this old woman selling Ma Ci ..



















































First time I see Ma Ci sold in so many types of artificial flavors and colors..
The lady was shouting " Ribena zui ho sek!!" "Lei Lei"

AS she was preparing our order of mixed Ma Ci.. this lady came forward and was about to mutter her order when the old lady said " Wait wait.. not you turn yet, i won't give it to you " ( in Cantonese ) haha... at least you have one stall in Petaling Street that teaches you about ethics.

WE still had another hour to kill.. and my dad actually insisted on going into Gift shops!! They were heavily decorated with various sizes of the Cj7 soft toy! I think it looks very much like the japanese Tortoise ..





















Still had another hour to kill, so we the two tired "tourist" decided to put a halt to all the walking.. and menginap kat McDs..

We decided to visit one last stop before picking up my mum from DayaBumi.. so we browsed through Central Market.. I came across really nice CheongSams there! =)

5 pm came, we got Mummy, and walked back to Pasar Seni.. dad decided to go back to Taman Jaya to have dinner with Wei-I .. so aiya.. walk walk again.. I was already dead tired when we reached Taman Jaya...

Gideon was there too .. their task for that day were to interview Smokers, and their shirts were really smoky.. as Gideon was saying " Now I know every brand of cigarettes!" So proud ho? haha..

Finally we got to sit and eat!! =) Had dinner at Sri Karak, where they are famous for their Durian tarts and BOMBs..

Dreaded the thought of finishing my dinner.. cz we had to walk all the way back to the station.. *crawls*

As we got into the LRt, This time it was really packed. as people were off work now.. so we were packed like sardines..

These two ladies standing in front of me looked like they were about to puke! They were shutting their eyes, and were wobbly.. hehe..

Guess it will be a great plus point for ya if you were super tall.. cause you get to breathe and would not need to cram your face with others.. this 3-heads taller than me,Mat Salleh was definitely enjoying his view! Times like this I wished I was taller!!







After a few stops, there was more ventilation as more people left..

We reached our last station around 7 30 pm ... altogether we had been walking around 6 hours! It should be named The Amazing LRT tour in Klang Valley! Tiring as it was, it was actually quite fun! In the LRT, dad pointed out at the massive jam on the roads and said " For once, I'm not stuck in bad traffic! "


I enjoyed it!! Who wants to come with me next?? This time I'm surely gonna pack a hanky! =)
