Iced Lemon Tea

Never underestimate this mamak drink..
It was soo good!! ( weili one ) The best I've tried actually! Dunno why, but something about this Ice Lemon tea was a notch higher than the rest.. and I actually finished it! Must be some special ingredient added into it =)

Food aside ..Back to today's highlight..

HEaded to One U to surprise the b'day girl..

We sent Ai Ling to spy on her.. as soon as we got the green light..

WE lighted the candles..





























and barged into the very famous BLOOK.. and sang the B'day song!

While waiting for Can Can's break ( it wasn't her break when we went in hehe ) We walked around One U.... and out from no where.. this lady started handing us roses... and persuaded us to try this hand treatment


" Your hand will be smooth instantly! Only takes 5 minutes "





Not that I usually get pulled into all these.. but we had lots of time to kill.. so why not bear with her... and test it ourselves?


She made me sudmerge my palm into some steaming hot substance

















































Me and Elaine were pretty freaked out.. but somehow Ai Ling had a different response..

suddenly it was hardening..






























it was WAX!!


Crazy crap!!... she's waxing my hands!! Just reminds me of house of wax.. ppl die due to wax. =/
But she kept saying it was good stuff, and will make my skin smoother... although i was pretty freaked out.. I had to cling on to her words...

Once the wax cast came out...

there wasn't much difference.. except it felt pretty waxy .. and it smelled weird.. ( strawberries and oranges it seems )


Speaking of strawberries.. after the free treatmen.t, we came upon some really pretty treats!!


So delicately and beautifully made!



































































But the price.... RM 4.90 for a tiny one!!

Chocolates do kill... =(



To comfort ourselves, we indulged in shopping instead.. I know. the irony right? We would rather pay 30 bucks for retail therapy than 4.90 for a piece of choc..... girlz =P
