I will be still, know You are God

This week has been a really long one.... with not too many good news in it..


Two dear friends lost their beloved ones a few days back ..

Pas.Mike's case on faking his cancer...

Got to know about more news on suicides and accidents from friends..





But despite all these news, Prayer became all the more important.. and sorta uplifted this gloominess surrounding me.. and hopefully others as well.

Had this nightwatch at "The Wall" on Friday ...

Somehow there was something pulling me from going... I wanted to go.. but at the same time had this dredged feeling from going ...

Furthermore.. the wall
It was located at the central of Jln Ampang....the heart of KL
It was raining heavily and it was during off-work hours (5pm) that we were travelling...
Thus we got ourselves stuck in a massive jam.. that wouldn't budge! (Stuck at the same spot for almost an hour... )

That backed and reinforced my 1st reason all the more... " should had stayed at home lar." I kept telling myself..

After being stuck at the same spot for 30 minutes.. we walk instead.. luckily it wasn't that far ...

Was greeted by Un.Robert soon. and he took us in to the Wall.. and all my doubts and unpreparedness were rid off the instance I went in .. haha really! Something bout that place... Just had a sense of peace and readiness to start the watch.. also managed to stay for most of the watches .. except for one hehe.

Youths from different churches - Seremban, Kajang, Cheras, PJ were there to uphold our country and generation to God in prayer.. that a generation

Our room also faced KL... as dawn broke and sunrays beamed through the windows.. ... We saw an eagle flying ...

" I will soar with you above the storm .. "

Looking back at the events that took place this week.. this song came back all over again.. and God just reassured to me that

When the oceans rise and mountains roar..
I will soar with You above the storm.
Father You are King over the flood...
I will be still, and know You are God "

He is God.. therefore I shall not worry =)

Look at the nations and watch
and be utterly amazed.
For I am going to do something in your days
that you would not believe,
even if you were told.

Was the answer to our prayers.. but hopefully it referred to the better and not worse.. you'll know what I mean if you read the verses before.. Yupz! So we believe that indeed God will do greater things in this city! =)

Amy and Wei-I.. she's 15 but towers me at 5 ft 9!! Also a very cute girl.. =)
