Passion..!!

Passion was amazing! It wasn't just another conference, but one that has prompted me deeply to start blessing others with what we've been given by Him.. to start reaching out, with what we've been receiving all along as Christians .


It was really worth the long long wait.. 4 HOURS. wohoo. never been that stoned before.

As I and EUnice were chatting.. this guy added into our conversation " Are you guys from FGA Cheras?" " I'm Emerson's friend .. "

Took a good look at him.. very familar.. ohh .. Jian Xin!!!

He called Em. and passed the phone to me.. and Em couldn't recognise my voice... sigh..

Anyway... while waiting.. we took some pics also lar ..

The conference started around 6 plus with Chris Tomlin leading worship.. and followed by Charlie Hall...

no pics of them. but a drummer.. too busy worshiping!

I find Charlie's lyrics were really direct and raw... " Make my dead heart beat again! " amen!

on why we have no reasons to say no to God when he calls.. I guess the highlight of the sermon was when he told us the story of Ashley by reading her journal, as if Ashley was telling it to us herself..

Ashley was a student in Florida- known as one of the top party schools in US.. and she was oen of the top 10 party girls there.. she went through a break up and got really confused with her messed up life.. til Christa her new roomie came to the picture. Ashley gave Christa a new name in her diary .. calling her a fruitcake. ( the whole hall resounded with laughter ) .. Fruitcake cz she was a very Christian Christian.. after a few days of having fruitcake sharing about the amzing grace of God.. she the wild party girl.. gave herself to Jesus.. just after 2 weeks when Christa moved in....

Ashley even stated that a song really touched her during a prayer meet she attended at Christa's church..

(Mighty to Save)

Louie then flipped through the pages of Ashley’s journal and skipped to the part where couple of where Ashley was very excited for her graduation. However as Louie wanted to read on...there were only empty pages. I sincerely thought he would surprise us by saying Ashley will continue the remaining pages of her journal.. as she's here this very day..

Instead.. he told us that Ashley died in a car accident.. and her dad wanted Louie to have the journal.. to share Ashley's her story and God’s love that changed her life for the short 3 months to the whole world..

It was really sad.. yet amazing at the fact God can even turn the impossible to something possible.

What spoke to me last night was..


Are you willing to be a fruitcake for God?? This world we live in needs more than one. Why wait till Christmas for everyone to get a sample of it??
