Fashion Week

They say kids say the darnest things.. 

I so agree. 

Today we had a short video presentation by the kids from church.

One particular question : How are you going to celebrate with your mum?

Answer1: throw cake at her

Answer2: Sabo her

All in all it the whole vid and dance made everyone laugh alot..... especially the lil boy with the Ultraman pose at the end ;) 

In my 2nd week of work, and surprisingly I'm still surviving!

Day in day out we make phone calls to companies to participate in the Career fair. Trying to get them agree is hard enough, waiting for them to send in their registration forms is even longerrr.... 

You must be wondering why I'm interning in an events company yet doing telemarketing huh? But I guess its pretty much parts and parcels of an events' process. During the event itself, we will be all hands down la.. btw, if you're looking for a job, do come for this fair. 

15th-17th May, PWTC

10am-7pm

Gonna be listed in the Malaysia  Book of records, as it will be the biggest career fair ever, with 600 companies participating =) 

However if you're interested in working as a partimer, by all means give me a call.. the briefing starts tomorrow though. 

Two days back, I was so privileged to help out the team in the Fashion Week event for aspiring young designers. 

It was the first time I had my hair and make up done by a group of semi-pro Snips' students. It was as if I was in Top Model itself hahahaa. So cool Really.. it took two of them to do my hair... and the girl that did my make-up.. took close to an hour! gosh.... tedious.. till I was pretty bored. 

Was pretty shocked when they showed me my hair!!

It was all CURLS! seriously speaking... I looked so old =( 

Even the make up gave me a fright... 

One thing about them.. they only show you how you look.. after everything...... y

a.. heartattack all in a shot. I didn;t look like wei-li close up. haha. oh well..anything for the fashion week I guess.. 

Had to guide the guests to their respective seats that day.. 

Seriously, every one that went for the event was glamorous head to toe.. 

Deborah Priya graced the event.. gosh she was gorgeous! 

Lim Kok Weng's daughter was there too, with a whole bunch of students dressed in black behind her..typical Lim Kok Weng uniform ;)

As soon as I reached home.. my sisters screamed in horror .... and started laughing and making remarks about the make-up... -_-; yalar yalar.. not my fault ok. .

Wy-pun suddenly got so excited.. and started taking pictures of me.. and my make-up.. saying..   " Don;t you want to commenmerate your first make over?" 

Sigh....
